Extending our journey to 31 August 2025

We are pleased to announce that the European Commission has officially extended the RE-SAMPLE project until 31 August 2025.

The extension will allow us to rectiify earlier timeline disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and to bring the project toward its key objective of developing an innovative AI-powered personalised care solution for patients with COPD and other chronic illnesses. 

With this additional time, we will focus on fine-tuning the virtual companionship programme, evaluating results with key stakeholders, and advancing exploitation and sustainability strategies to ensure the long-term impact and continued adoption of the project's outcomes, while amplifying dissemination efforts to reach broader audiences.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all research participants, partners, and stakeholders who have played a pivotal role in the project's success so far. Your dedication and collaboration have been invaluable.
